30 Minuten täglich genügen, um nach den Prinzipien des European Ayurveda® zu leben und Dein Wohlbefinden zu steigern.

How much time do you dedicate to your health? European Ayurveda® doesn't always require a week-long retreat to have a healing effect on your body. Just 30 minutes a day are enough to live according to the principles of European Ayurveda® and enhance your well-being. You surely feel it yourself: your well-being largely depends on the activities filling your day. Depending on where you are in your life, it can be easier or harder to integrate healthy habits into your daily routine. To bring balance to your hectic day, we have combined the most important routines to take only 30 minutes of your time daily.

European Ayurveda® in the Morning

Have you ever consciously paid attention to how you start your day? Take a few minutes in the morning for a thorough cleansing of your body, which also refreshes your mind.

After waking up, three short routines await you:

  • Oil Pulling: To free your entire oral cavity from toxins, we recommend oil pulling. The positive effects of this traditional Ayurvedic technique are now also recognized in Western medicine. Take a teaspoon of oral care oil or sesame oil into your mouth and "pull" it slowly through all areas of the mouth and between the teeth for several minutes. Spit the oil into a paper towel and dispose of it in the household waste.

  • Tongue Scraping: Oral hygiene plays an important role in European Ayurveda®, because overnight, residues of Ama (toxins) can form on your tongue. With a stainless steel tongue scraper, you can remove these and simultaneously stimulate your digestion. Gently place the scraper at the back third of the tongue surface and pull it forward several times toward the tip of the tongue. Afterward, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and brush your teeth as usual. Important: After use, you should clean the scraper with warm water.

  • Warm Lemon Water: To round off your Ayurvedic morning ritual, boil some water and let it cool slightly. Squeeze fresh lemon and mix the juice with the warm water. Drink in small, mindful sips. This stimulates your metabolism and helps you digest breakfast better.

European Ayurveda® at Noon

The next mindful 10 minutes are best taken at noon. It's the ideal time to recharge and go into the second half of the day strengthened. That's why you should plan your main meal now.

Take time to cook fresh and eat mindfully. Chew and savor every bite. A positive side effect: mindful eating reduces the tendency to overeat.

After the meal, we recommend moderate exercise—especially if you sit a lot at work. To stimulate digestion and clear the mind, a short walk is enough. You'll see, fresh air works wonders!

European Ayurveda® in the Evening

After an eventful day, it's important to use the evening hours to come to rest again. Ayurvedic rituals in the evening are designed to relax the body and mind.

A guided meditation or gentle yoga routines like the moon salute are wonderful ways to ground yourself and cleanse your thoughts. Even with these techniques, just a few minutes in the here and now are enough to benefit from the positive effects. Which form you practice is entirely up to you.

Alternatively, you can write down your thoughts. In so-called journaling, it's about looking inward and writing downwhat moves you. A special form of journaling is the gratitude journal. For this, get yourself a nice notebook in which you'd like to write daily and note down three things every evening that you're thankful for.

We are curious about what experiences you will make with 30 minutes of European Ayurveda® a day.
