Tracking policy for this website
Data tracking on our website
In order to continuously improve our online offering and make it as relevant as possible for you, we use data tracking technologies on our website. This involves collecting and analysing certain information about your usage behaviour on our website and, depending on the service, sharing some of this information with external platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
What data is collected?
Depending on the tool used, the data collected may include:
- Pages and content visited
- Click behaviour and interactions
- Time spent on the site
- Source of the visit (e.g. search engine, social media)
- Device and browser information
- (Anonymised or pseudonymised) IP address
Tracking tools used:
We use the following services, amongst others:
- Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel):
This tool enables us to target users of our website on social networks such as Facebook and Instagram with relevant advertising (retargeting). Meta thereby receives information about your use of our website, provided you have consented to the processing of your data.
- Instagram plugins and embedded content:
When you visit a page with an embedded Instagram post or ‘Follow’ button, a connection may be established with Instagram/Meta’s servers. In doing so, Meta may record which pages you have visited – even without an active Instagram account.
- Google Analytics:
For statistical analysis of user behaviour (anonymised or pseudonymised).
Legal basis and consent:
Your data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, which you can give via our cookie banner on your first visit. No data tracking for marketing purposes takes place without your consent.
Your options:
- You can withdraw or change your consent at any time – directly in the cookie banner.
- Further information can be found in our privacy policy.
