Laut der ayurvedischen Lehre lässt Dein Pulsschlag Rückschlüsse auf die Bedürfnisse und Blockaden Deiner drei Doshas zu.

Have you ever measured your own pulse? Gently place your fingers on your inner wrist and feel the blood pulsing through your veins. The pulse is the rhythm of life. It indicates how quickly and with what intensity your heart beats. According to Ayurvedic teachings, your pulse can provide insights into the needs and blockages of your three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Often, the three bioenergies are imbalanced, which can lead to blockages. The so-called pulse diagnosis determines what problems are present.

Find Your Life Energy

Pulse diagnosis has a centuries-old tradition in Ayurvedic healing. To be able to correctly read and interpret the pulse requires years of experience, high empathy, and competence.

In Ayurveda, it is believed that the three doshas Vata, Pitta, and Kapha flow through every body. They influence the body, mind, and soul to different degrees. An Ayurvedic expert can determine which of the three doshas has the greatest influence on your characteristics, physical condition, and appearance.

But how does it work?

An Ayurvedic expert places their ring, middle, and index fingers on the inside of your wrist. By applying varying pressure, the pulse is felt. This allows various levels of the pulse to be accessed and read. This is done on both wrists, producing a comprehensive picture of any disturbances and blockages in which organ, which dosha needs strengthening, and what your constitutional type is.

The Six Stages of Energetic Disturbance

In Ayurveda, six stages of disturbance are distinguished:

1. Accumulation (Sanskrit "Sanchaya")

If a dosha does not flow freely through the body but is blocked at a point, it accumulates there. Additionally, the subdosha of the organ where the disturbance occurs also suffers.

2. Aggravation (Sanskrit "Prakopa")

Since the dosha cannot flow out, it accumulates and builds up increasing pressure.

3. Spreading (Sanskrit "Prasara")

The dosha now seeks another path and spreads throughout the body, including into the subdoshas.

4. Localization (Sanskrit "Sthana Samshraya")

The disturbed dosha settles somewhere it does not belong and develops symptoms of illness, known as "Prodromi."

5. Manifestation (Sanskrit "Vyakti")

At this stage, the symptoms become visible.

6. Disruption (Sanskrit "Bheda")

Ultimately, the imbalance between body, mind, and soul breaks out.
