Use the 5 Rules of Positivity for Your Mindset

It is the great moments of happiness in life that we like to look back on and that often give meaning and direction to our existence. To feel holistically happy and not just to steer life in a positive direction on special occasions, but sustainably, it is necessary to do something every day for your own positive mindset. With the 5 Rules of Positivity for Your Mindset, you bring more joy and mindfulness into your day!
The first kiss, your own wedding, the reunion with an old friend, or the birth of a child – when you think of the happiest and most positive moments in your life, you can surely recall some situations in which you lived your best self and felt nothing but joy and love. As valuable as these experiences are, some days they seem unreachable and far away. The many demands of everyday life noticeably affect your mood and your body also reacts negatively to stress and an unbalanced lifestyle.
The 5 Rules of Positivity for Your Mindset do not originate directly from European Ayurveda®, but they consider the same important principles for more well-being.Take time every day for the following 5 rules and create a source of happy moments even in turbulent times – every day.
The 5 Rules at a Glance
1. Meditation
Start every morning by consciously taking time for peace and concentration and turning your gaze inward. Whether it's just one minute or twenty: Meditation can help you calm your mind, reduce stress, and center yourself. With a clear, calm mind, you are guaranteed to start your day positively!

2. Self-Care and Mindful Words
Your thoughts have a powerful effect on your well-being. If you constantly criticize yourself and aren't satisfied with yourself, you rob yourself of the opportunity to be happy. Consider the following rule in your self-dialogue: For every negative thought you have about yourself, try to speak two positive and empowering sentences to yourself. Use positive affirmations to make your desires and visions a reality. This way, you can gradually transform negative thought patterns and beliefs into positive and constructive ones.
3. Healthy Enjoyment
A healthy and balanced diet is not only good for your body: When you feel fit, healthy, and vital, your mood rises by itself! Therefore, avoid heavily processed ready-made products and instead plan enough time for fresh and homemade meals. Perhaps you will discover the joy of cooking when preparing healthy, regional, and seasonal dishes and let your thoughts at the stove drift to your goals and wishes.

4. Gentle Movement
Exercise is healthy – but did you know that daily movement also lifts your mood? Physical activity stimulates endorphin production in the body, leads to better oxygen supply in the blood, and allows negative thoughts to dissipate. Therefore, try to incorporate a walk in the fresh air, a yoga session, swimming training, or a relaxed run into your routine every day.
5. Gratitude
Just as you mindfully start your day with meditation, end it with a small ritual that allows you to consciously reflect on the events of the day : Write down three things every evening that you were grateful for today – no matter how big or small. This exercise shows you in a simple way that every day holds something positive and special for you if you focus your attention on it.
These 5 Rules of Positivity for Your Mindset are a first step on the way to a more fulfilling and happier life. Start implementing them today and you will soon notice how your well-being improves and your mind comes into balance. Cultivate the ability to perceive positive aspects in life and pay attention to your health – this opens the door to many small and also great moments of happiness!
