Das Konzept des Cyclical Living kann Dir helfen, wieder mehr im Einklang mit Deinem Selbst, Deinem Körper und der Natur zu leben.

In a world where the always-on mentality permeates not only our work life but also our private life, stress and overwhelm are pre-programmed. The constant availability and the pressure to always be productive often lead to a feeling of alienation from ourselves and our environment. The concept of Cyclical Living can offer a way out of this hamster wheel and help you live more in harmony with yourself, your body, and nature again.

Cyclical Living stands for a lifestyle that connects the natural cycles of time, the environment, and your body. It encourages you, alongside phases of activity and growth, also to create space for rest, recovery, and retreat. Our ancestors lived in harmony with nature for millennia. They aligned their lives with sunrises and sunsets, celebrated seasonal changes, and recognized the moon's significance for agriculture and fertility.

In the healing teachings of Ayurveda, the change of seasons and different doshas, which dominate at various phases, play a crucial role. With the advancement of technology and industrialization, many of these ancient cycles have been forgotten.

Cyclical Living for Women

The concept of Cyclical Living involves the rediscovery and conscious integration of the seasons, the moon, and the menstrual cycle into your daily life and decisions. Particularly for women, cycles are associated with a unique gift – their period. All too often we see the female cycle as a nuisance and fail to recognize its transformative power. Just as you can consciously use winter for rest and reflection to harness your strength and creativity in spring according to the natural rhythm, you can also utilize the different phases of your cycle to unleash your full potential and live in harmony with your female nature. Instead of fighting against the accompanying symptoms, you learn to appreciate the unique features of each phase of your cycle.

The four phases of the female cycle

  • Menstruation (Winter): This phase represents renewal and a new beginning. It is a time for relaxation, introspection, and self-care. By allowing yourself to come to rest and switch off during this phase, you create the foundation for the rest of the month.

  • Follicular phase (Spring): In this phase, you feel your energy and creativity rising again. The follicular phase is a time of growth and new ideas. You can use this phase to make new plans, start projects, and express your creativity.

  • Ovulation phase (Summer): In this phase, your energy reaches its peak. You feel alive and radiant most of the time. Now is the perfect time to put your plans into action and nurture relationships.

  • Luteal phase (Fall): In this phase, you turn your attention inward and should take time to reflect. It is a time of integration and preparation for the coming menstruation.

By listening to your body and its needs in the different phases of the cycle and adjusting your diet, exercise routines, and sleep habits, you promote your health and overall well-being. By being aware of your body's cycle, as well as the cycles in nature, you learn to be more mindful of yourself and your environment again. You realize that there are times for activity and space for rest - and that both are equally important. Cyclical Living also promotes the concept of focused working phases in your work life, followed by conscious recovery times. This way, you can work more creatively, focused, and ultimately more efficiently and recover better in your free time.

Meditations against the autumn blues

Even though the days are noticeably cooler, the month still gifts us with many beautiful sunny days. But do you sometimes feel that your heart feels heavy? Do you feel uncomfortable in your skin? It could very well be that you're feeling a bit of the autumn blues.

Portal days – harnessing the energy of the universe

Do you know that feeling? One day you wake up full of energy and in a good mood, and the next day you are suddenly completely exhausted and off track. The people around you also feel the same way. Of course, there are many reasons why your daily mood can be so different. But one of them is the cosmic energies – which on so-called portal days, in particular, can quite mix up our doshas.
